Gartenbau-Versicherung VVaG, founded back in 1847 by gardeners for gardeners in Berlin, is a successful damage insurer for horticulture in Germany and abroad.
As part of the Gartenbau-Versicherung ERP C# migration case study, a new ERP system for the Symbios 2.0 web application was developed together with Gartenbau-Versicherung to support a step-by-step migration from the legacy system.
Ahead of the project, a consulting package was offered that introduced potential best practices in direct consultation with the client, conveyed through internal training sessions. Additional consulting packages were then successfully delivered remotely by the development team at DEVWARE GmbH.
Using ASP.NET MVC and C#, Gartenbau-Versicherung already has access to a quote and inquiry processing solution and uses it in both internal operations and field service. The remaining modules are to be migrated in further steps.
We are also pleased to highlight another subproject in the area of authentication. Here, the focus was on administering an OAuth solution via Identity Server 4 together with an ADFS token server.
