To optimize holistic communication, DEVWARE was commissioned to develop a web-based news portal as a web CMS that integrates seamlessly into the existing WPF application and serves as a central information platform.
The news portal should be digitally accessible and interactively usable for employees as well as customers and partners. With functions such as filtering, searching, and labeling, the news portal serves as an internal information network for the entire company.
DEVWARE implements the desired views in HTML5 and CSS3 based on the specifications, in close collaboration between developers and web designers, and presents the results in iterative phases.
As a web-based portal, delivering a fully functional software solution that works across all common browsers is a given.
In addition to the technical software development, DEVWARE was also entrusted with developing the UX design and implementing it based on the client's specific vision.
Key UX goals include intuitive application behavior, ease of use, and a clear structure. In consultation with WinWorker GmbH, a tile-based design was developed that clearly displays all required information and statuses, giving readers an optimal overview.
The mobile-friendly, responsive design played a particularly important role in developing and implementing the UX design. The DEVWARE team developed an optimal solution for both portrait and landscape formats on mobile devices.
Thanks to goal-oriented development and a user-friendly design implementation, the entire WinWorker team can already access the interactive news portal and integrate it into their daily work.
