DEVWARE supported AlphaTax in modernizing a WPF desktop application. The goal was a stable, secure, and scalable WPF software architecture to process tax data efficiently and in compliance with data protection requirements.
Desktop App Modernization
As a leading outsourcing and service provider in the tax sector, AlphaTax GmbH has operated at multiple locations for its clients since 2002, and as part of the AlphaTax WPF architecture project, pursued a targeted modernization of its existing desktop application.
DEVWARE GmbH was commissioned to provide consulting and support for the WPF software architecture used in internal company management.
AlphaTax GmbH needed personal service and support for its existing tax data import application.
A WPF frontend was developed for the “AlphaTax Core” application to efficiently process and manage customer orders. Secure permission assignment and authentication requirements allow the application to be used in compliance with data protection regulations, while security-critical application areas remain protected.

With the help of a batch server, the AlphaTax GmbH team can process the application's services in parallel. The defined infrastructure ensures that neither data loss nor the use of duplicates occurs in the system
Thanks to the WPF software architecture, customer orders can be managed efficiently across locations and processed without errors.
